John Smyth

John C. Smyth is the President and Founder of Calvert Mechanical Solutions, a single-source mechanical contracting and service company. Calvert was founded in 1986 by John and his wife, Geri. John is a Registered Master Plumber/Gasfitter. He has served on the Baltimore County Plumbing Board for over 22 years, the last 8 as Chair of that Board. He has been active in a variety of non-profit organizations including serving as President/Chair of Associated Builders and Contractors Baltimore, Chair of the Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital Board, and service on boards including the Archdiocese of Baltimore School Board, Notre Dame Prep School, Institute of Notre Dame, Archbishop Curley High School, Notre Dame of Maryland University and the Monsignor O'Dwyer Retreat House.
